From bodies-territories to the streets, from collective care to organized rage: disputing the meanings of a fairer world in times of polarization involves multiple struggles and resistances. Shall we capture them?

Are you part of a social movement or collective working for justice? Maybe your friends are?
We want to see and share how you live, embody, and transform struggles in your territory - using the image and its narrative power to cross borders.

🎯 Themes (all categories compete together):

  • Collective care and support networks
  • LGBTIQ+ rights
  • Anti-racism and decolonization
  • Sexual and reproductive rights
  • Struggles against political violence

🏆 Prizes:
Cash rewards in USD for the best images (amounts confirmed):

  • First Prize: 800 USD
    (Recognition for the image that best synthesizes aesthetic strength, narrative, and commitment to ecosocial struggles.)
  • Second Prize: 450 USD
    (For an image that stands out for its visual power and strong connection to one of the key themes.)
  • Third Prize: 250 USD
    (Special recognition for an image that moves, inspires, or reveals practices of collective care and resistance.)

âś… Requirements:

  • Be 18+ and part (formally or informally) of a collective, network, or social movement.
  • Each participant may submit up to 5 images.
  • Images must be your own work.
  • Consent from people portrayed is required (not written, but you should have obtained it at the time of taking the photo).
  • By participating, you authorize OTRT to use the images in awareness and visibility campaigns (non-commercial).

You can join using a phone, camera, or whatever you have at hand. The contest is open to anyone 18+ involved in social movements and collectives.
