Warsaw, Poland — From September 16 to 19, 2025, the second European Regional Meeting of On The Right Track (OTRT) brought together 60 activists, feminist funds, and grassroots leaders from across Europe, with contributions from allies in Latin America. Organised by filia and hosted by FemFund, the gathering created a vibrant space for connection, solidarity, and collective strategizing under the theme “Coming Together in Warsaw.”

This meeting built upon the previous gathering in Bulgaria and marked an important milestone in the six years of collaboration and solidarity that unite the On the Right Track (ORT) initiative. Over this time, activists and women’s funds from Europe and a representative from Latin America have strengthened their ties, developed common strategies, and reaffirmed a shared commitment: “We are unstoppable.”
Over three days, participants from more than a dozen countries—including Colombia, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, and Bulgaria—shared experiences of resistance to authoritarianism, anti-gender and anti-rights agendas, and the rise of right-wing forces in the region. The meeting affirmed the urgency of building feminist power across borders and rooting solidarity in diverse local struggles.
The first day focused on grounding—mapping who we are and the contexts we work in. Through thematic working groups and collective mapping, participants created a shared picture of the current challenges and opportunities for feminist and social justice movements across Europe.

The second day deepened learning and exchange. Parallel sessions explored the intersections of climate justice and sexual and reproductive rights, the politics of bodily diversity, queer Arab resistance, and migrant justice in Europe. Creative workshops invited participants to restore, connect, and reimagine through art therapy, collective voice, and historical reflection.
The final day looked to the future. Through collective visioning and strategy-building, participants defined directions for deepening solidarity and strengthening transnational feminist alliances in Europe. The gathering closed with rituals of affirmation and a celebration of the community built in Warsaw.
In the face of growing political violence, democratic erosion, and intensifying repression across Europe, the Warsaw meeting made clear: OTRT in Europe and Latin America is more than a network, it is a reliable force for collective resilience, imagination, and action with 6 years of experience. From Warsaw, one conviction echoed strongly: human rights can only be defended and expanded when feminist
