
Urgent Action Fund – Latin America & The Caribbean
During the second phase, 251 grants were awarded to 118 groups in Latin America and 119 in Europe. The WFs prioritised the security and care of the groups, adapting to regional contexts such as the war in Ukraine and migratory flows in Latin America.
In the first phase, in Europe and Latin America, 156 organisations and networks were supported in 27 countries (103 in 13 European countries and 53 in 14 LA countries).

Collective, transregional, and on the front lines: A global geminist network responds to the rise of the far right
As part of the international EDGE Funders conference, the initiative On The Right Track (OTRT) —an interregional alliance of women’s and feminist funds from Europe and Latin America— presented its political and strategic vision in response to the global surge of far-right and fundamentalist agendas. The panel, held on April 29 in Bogotá, brought together diverse voices that shared analyses, territorial experiences, and strategies for sustaining life, justice, and democracy from transfeminist standpoints.

Six articulated working groups gathering for human rights' defense
Since its creation in 2019, the initiative has woven a network of solidarity among feminist organizations, women’s funds, social collectives, and activists from Latin America and Europe — a key articulation within the transregional feminist movement. In the face of rising authoritarianism, corruption, and the far right, the response has been clear: shifting from reaction to collective strategic action, driving co-creation processes within diverse working groups.
